Basic Life Support (BLS)

Course Content

• Comprehensive CPR training for one and two rescuers, covering adults, children, and infants
• Effective techniques for choking relief in conscious and unconscious patients
• Proper usage of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) with key considerations
• Critical skills in rescue breathing, bag-valve-mask ventilation, and advanced airway management

Course Format

Instructor-led, classroom-based training featuring hands-on practice and video-based learning.

Course Details

• Course Length: Approximately 3 hours
• Minimum class size: No minimum requirement. We will hold the class even if only one student enrolls.
• Enrollment Cut-off: Enrollment closes when the class is full. Late enrollments may receive course materials on the day of class.

Certification

Upon successful completion, students receive an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Provider e-Card, valid for two years. e-Cards are issued within 1-2 business days after course completion.

CAPCE Accreditation

For EMTs, AEMTs, and Paramedics: This course is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Pre-Hospital Continuing Education (CAPCE) and provides 2.50 Basic Continuing Education Hours (CEHs).
