The Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) course is designed for healthcare professionals who manage pediatric emergencies — including physicians, nurses, paramedics, EMTs, and critical care personnel. The course teaches life-saving skills in pediatric resuscitation, airway management, and advanced cardiovascular interventions, preparing participants to recognize and respond to life-threatening pediatric conditions in emergency departments, intensive care units, and pre-hospital settings.
You must complete the AHA PALS Pre-Course Self Assessment online before class and bring the certificate. Without it, you will not be able to attend the course.

Upon successful completion, students receive an American Heart Association (AHA) PALS Provider e-Card, valid for two years. e-Cards are issued within 1–2 business days after course completion.
This course is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Pre-Hospital Continuing Education (CAPCE). EMTs, AEMTs, and paramedics earn 12.75 advanced Continuing Education Hours for the full course or 7.00 advanced CEHs for the renewal.

The pace of this course is accelerated and the components of the two-day course are covered in one day. It is important that the book is read prior to class. The instructor reserves the right to require additional class time at a later date if they feel that more time is needed for your satisfactory course completion.
